Dragon drawing

Post by saranicole »

After many months of procrastination, I finally finished a drawing I've been working on and getting lots of hand cramps over. I think I've put more time and effort into this drawing than I have on any (recent anyway) I've done. However, I find it kinda sad that the only good thing I can draw from my imagination is dragons. :boo

Anyway, here you go:

Very nice, detailed work on the textures. But (except for the eyeball) it looks kinda flat (like a paper-cut dragon head)
Don't get me wrong, I like the style, though.

As someone who doesn't have the patience to create uniform hand-drawn textures like that, I admire your work! :p
I really like how even though it's made up of precise hard cut lines, it still looks nice and flowy.

Great use of those geometric shapes, its good with those textures/patterns you used. The roundness of the other stuff blends in well too.
