The GameBoy Micro. Another example of how modern technology seems to shrinking things. Do good things really come in small packages? Or can something really be too small?
Yes folks, the fundamental question of life… does size matter.

looks awesome to me in a way (and even smaller than I remember it looking when I saw it on ign before...) except that when you have something with a screen, there's only so small you want the screen to be, and that sort of looks too small to me.
also, I wish they'd quit making gbas and make new stuff instead.

short answer, yes
long answer, yes but bigger does not always equal better.
regarding the micro--- i think it is way too small... it's pretty but I don't think that it's going to be easy to see.... I predict headaches in the micro's future...

As long as the price is below $50, it'll be a smash sucess. Otherwise, why bother?
SP is a much better design, overall.

For videogames and penis', it's how you use it that counts. Nothing can change this fact (but flashy fmv's sell, but that is like a fake bar-star woman, no substance)

As long as it doesn't cause those supposedly crippling cramps that Blackberry addicts are coming down with, it looks pretty nifty to me.

Don't you remember the Godzilla punchline? Size DOES matter
But why would you want to look at that tiny screen is beyond me. Just imagine trying to read some RPG text on that

One Christmas one of my sister's friends joked that what I got my sister and my brother could fit in a small plastic bag. It could as well. So in that interpretation, he felt that the bigger the present, the better. So I told him that by that theory my old crummy brick phone that I had at the time was way better than his tiny little nokia phone.
That is way off topic, but I just wanted to demonstrate how size is interpreted in different cases.
I actually have no opinion on the micro. Only that I won't be getting it. I do the SP, it's so lovely, and that's small enough yet big enough for me.

haha I don't even have the most obvious 3 really. I have gba:sp, gameboy player, and ds.
which is the golden three as far as I'm concerned. although I suppose I could do without the sp now, but I prefer carrying it around to carrying around the ds.

This thread made me remember I have a Gameboy Camera. That little fucker was so much fun. I think the limited space on it made one more imaginative when making stop motion movies, but maybe that's just me.

Small is good as long as it's not too small. That looks like it could be a kitchen magnet.

when it comes to functional things, yes size does and will always matter. That thing is too tiny. My eyes are already bad enough, just looking at the picture makes me feel like I'm squinting already.

I will await the nintendo goggles. If it is going to be small, it needs to be as close to my eyeballs as possible.

I didn’t see the point of the GB Micro at the time but as a retro console, it seems kinda cool now.

I remember it seemed kind of dumb, but when I did see one I was impressed by the sharpness of the little screen.

If they go full VR, they'll be leaving me behind as a consumer. I need screens right up against my face like I need a bullet to the brain. As creepy as it sounds, I'd honestly trust something that taps into the optic nerve more than the current gauche technology of shoving screens right in front of your eyes and calling that VR.
The TBB offers you tea and biscuits.
