Rite department is region right? I'm pretty sure that my name originates from Normandy, and I know that my mom's name is current in France (two famous ppl have it, but I'm not saying who lawl).

Speaking of Acadians, their accent sure is funny.

I don't really know about food. We do eat oysters, snails, pâtés, croissants and crème soup (i had some in Nice it was delicious). But they're really the typical stuff we'll eat (which is basically north american) like Tourtière (think meat pie), shepherd's pie and steak
