Okay, so Pokemon DS is coming out in a few months and Damien suggested we organise which copies to buy so we can all swap Pokemons from different versions.

I finally caught all the legendaries on my Emerald yesterday btw, except for the roaming Latias

Might just nick the Master Ball from Leaf Green when it comes and duplicate it using the bug

Have you ever heard of a game coming without a cartridge btw? I bought Leaf Green and it arrived, sealed and everything, but no cartridge?!

They put an extra area with the G/S Pokemon into it, as they were not planning on remaking that, and people would want a full Pokedex.

Go for grass then, and see if you can get Matt to post here.
As long as you can breed it eventually, it doesn't matter if you evolve it. The offspring are always the lowest possible evolution form (with exception of one that need hold items/special conditions to breed differently).

Go for fire. Fire looks cool too and I'd go for it but I'm going for water as I think girls will like it more.
I'm not trying to pull using my Pokemon, I just think I can recruit more people if I show them a Pokemon they like

I cba looking around, is there a system in place to stop people wifi-trading to get all the starters easily? As in
Player A catches random pokemon, gets to pokemon centre, trades his starter to Player B, restarts, repeat process?

I guess if it's like the other games, you can't trade until you get a fair bit into the adventure.
I know a couple of people that started the game three time over in R/S

As Chris said, you probably have to go quite far into the adventure.

What were doing is choosing different starters so we can breed them and trade them with other people. Thats what most other people are doing too, except theyre being arses and asking for level 100 legendaries.

We need to do this for the legendaries too, though im not sure you can breed them??

Even with the Ditdo? I guess it makes people get good at the game to catch legendaries, but I doubt anyone would trade a legendary for anything other than another legendary. That was a legendary sentence.

You can duplicate them using the Emerald glitch though, but I wouldn't duplicate legendaries anyway, spoils the fun of just have one in the entire game.

Yeah..that's annoying.

A PS2 emulator doesn't even exist yet, even though a PSOne emulator existed before the PS2 arrived.

What happened to developers?? Plus, a huge factor that's keeping me from buying it is knowing that the game will ultimately take me that much longer thanks to my obsessive behaviour when it comes to Pokemon, and not being able to speed the game up.

With the VBA you could always go 1000% speed on the previous pokemon games
