xenosaga 3 help! spoilers

hi everyone i'm a bit stuck, i'm almost at the end of the game but can't get past a certain boss. I'm at es levi and only have about 70,000 hp per gear. Then when i get his hp low enough, he attacks me for about 80,000-90,000 hp. Does anyone have any tips of beating this thing? thanks

I think Sephira's probably the only one here that could help you.
Personally, even if I had finished the game, I probably would have forgotten what the hell people were talking about when they asked questions like this.

And...finish the game.

When he is getting ready to use that attack that does major damage, just block. Make sure you have the ES items on that reduces damage. It gives you warning as to when he's going to use the attack.

yeah, they weren't much help either. And i don't feel like plunking money out for the walthrough when i'm almost done. Thanks sephira! Were do i get the items that cause less damage? Can i buy them?
