Yeah it's main feature wasn't meant to be a forum either. It was supposed to be a kinda' gaming blog social media platform. It had a few redesigns but the site just got quieter and quieter. Personally, I preferred the first design (before it went black and green). The site news forum here still has a post about Hype Up.

Yes it was definitely thereabouts. I time radio pulsars and an unaccounted-for leap second is actually a highly noticeable thing.

That might be true.

The short answer is that I time pulsars in order to learn about the pulsars, their environments, orbital companions, other neat physics.

The long answer involves explaining what I mean by timing pulsars and why that provides the aforementioned things. I will only do that if further interest is expressed.
