Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 10:59 pm

I win

Lord Golbez · Post by **Lord Golbez** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 10:59 pm

And WIN!

Reiji · Post by **Reiji** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 10:59 pm

Paying my respects to SG.

Thanks for all the memories, guys.

Lord Golbez · Post by **Lord Golbez** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 10:59 pm

I mean WIN!

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:00 pm

Will somebody that hasn't posted in years win?

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:00 pm

My computer says midnight.

Lord Golbez · Post by **Lord Golbez** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:01 pm

Or..... it's still here.... so I don't know.

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:01 pm

1 minute past.

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:01 pm

I guess it's not dead on midnight then.

Lord Golbez · Post by **Lord Golbez** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:02 pm

If it goes down at an unexpected time, will we ever know who wins. Will the last poster even be sure to get a screen capture?

TheStrife · Post by **TheStrife** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:03 pm

Bi-winning.

Lord Golbez · Post by **Lord Golbez** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:03 pm

Could this mean SG gets a reprieve? We're not ending things this year after all?

:happytea

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:03 pm

I've been screen grabbing after every post.
Victory cannot be claimed without proof

We going to stay posting like this until whenever it is the site vanishes?

Lord Golbez · Post by **Lord Golbez** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:04 pm

I don't think I can keep up this posting rate forever though....

shmack · Post by **shmack** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:06 pm

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:06 pm

I guess that scientifically true. Shame.

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:06 pm

If anything, the speed of the site has picked up since we hit midnight

TheStrife · Post by **TheStrife** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:08 pm

Truly the end of an era. I salute you SG for all the awesome people I met during your prime. ;_;7

Lord Golbez · Post by **Lord Golbez** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:08 pm

Does that mean SG got revivified instead of killed?

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:09 pm

Are you expecting SG to be around forever now, because it's here at 9 minutes past midnight?

Lord Golbez · Post by **Lord Golbez** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:09 pm

Yes.

Anonymous · Post by **Anonymous** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:09 pm

Maybe.

Anonymous · Post by **Anonymous** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:10 pm

What time zone are the host servers in?

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:10 pm

You'd have entirely missed it if SG did go down when we were all expecting it to.

Reiji · Post by **Reiji** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:10 pm

I'll miss all these guys:

and my personal contribution,

Anonymous · Post by **Anonymous** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:10 pm

The RDM went to the lake for the day.

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:11 pm

GMT. Maybe they didn't put the clock forward last Sunday though

Anonymous · Post by **Anonymous** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:13 pm

The RDM's been assuming Eastern Daylight time this whole time.

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:14 pm

We changed servers a couple of times...

What happened to that retarded green smirking smiley all the nubs used to use for their first posts?

Which one? This?

Anonymous · Post by **Anonymous** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:15 pm

Ah. The RDM had totally disregarded England as a possibility.

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:17 pm

It's been here, and also in America.

TheStrife · Post by **TheStrife** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:17 pm

No. It was lime green, had big eyes and was giving this sideways smirk. All the new posters would always use it for their unnecessary introduction posts. Ward loved to use it as well.

Probably because it looks like Sonic the hedgehog...go figure SG had the first glimpses of the crazy Sonic fandom before deviantArt and recolors.

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:19 pm

I can't picture it. Maybe it was taken off before SG2K4.
We have all the 2K4 smileys here, and a bunch of newer ones like

Anonymous · Post by **Anonymous** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:20 pm

Incidentally, the RDM is now tied with Ward in the spammer rankings. Or possibly ahead of him. and winning this thread as well.

Ahhh right!

TheStrife · Post by **TheStrife** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:23 pm

Hahaha yeah, that's it.

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:24 pm

I'm going to have to bail soon and go to bed. I don't want to lose though

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:27 pm

Don't forget to screengrab if you want to be claiming a win!
Happy SG ending

Anonymous · Post by **Anonymous** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:30 pm

Just make sure you get back before midnight on the Midway islands.

TheStrife · Post by **TheStrife** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:31 pm

I havent seen that smiley in years. VibingV used to use it all the time on MSN messenger. I sent it to Rachel years ago and that was the last I saw of it.

Anonymous · Post by **Anonymous** » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:32 pm

You should save out the smiley database.

Lord Golbez · Post by **Lord Golbez** » Sun Apr 01, 2012 12:08 am

Good to see all these folks coming in for a last post and a possible win.

Lord Golbez · Post by **Lord Golbez** » Sun Apr 01, 2012 12:13 am

Speaking of nubs using smileys for their intro posts, that reminds me of why SG is superior to so many other forums. Here we get annoyed when people make intro threads and prefer they jump right in. In so many other forums, members actively encourage newcomers to make intro posts. It's annoying and lame.

Sure as part of the TBB, I prefer we act friendly to people who make intro threads, but I definitely don't like it when I'm posting something in a new forum and someone harasses me to make an intro post. It really does happen.
