London pubs, bars, travel, and culture site - launched yesterday!

If anybody's planning on drinking in London, then this site's well worth a look.
Obviously this doesn't apply to most people here, but I thought I'd post up the link so you can see exactly what this other project we were working on was.

Theres an error with IE6. People can't seem to register, all other browsers are fine. There was a small notifying error with hotmail as well, though I think I've fixed that!

Actually, the worst thing about bars is the fcuking smoking. Being a sober person among drinking people can be amusing, but there's nothing amusing about spending long periods in a dense carcinogenic gas. I haven't been to many bars before as I've only been dragged along with friends on a few occasions. I'm guessing I can count the amount of times on one hand, but I'm not going to try to think about it. At any rate, I remember one time I was stuck in there for at least a few hours and I couldn't get the smoke smell out of my clothes afterward. It went away naturally after a while I guess, but not through washing them, evn multiple times. Fcuking smokers!

Alcohol makes some people fucking retarded, but it is a complicated formula involving intoxication level, propensity to stupidity or violence of the imbiber, food intake in the past 8 hours, types of alcohol mixed, mood of the person before getting drunk, the company they are with, ability to handle various forms of alcohol (some people get weird on red wine, f'rinstance) etc. etc.

The best red wine comes from a can, it's also easier to drink on the go from a can. The man of text got me some lovely cans of wine for my birthday once, they stained everything, especially my lips, very red.

Frankly, I feel like murdering everytime I'm just forced to pass someone smoking on the sidewalk. It really turns into a blinding rage when they light up on the fcuking Metro escalator, so there's no way to even take a wide path around them.

Usually I'm going up and they're above me, because they can't smoke in the metro stations anyway (I feel this should inculde the escalator

). I guess they're so jonesing by the time they get out that they can't wait until they're off the escalator to light up. Oh......the hatred!

I'm glad my olfactory system isn't as sensitive as yours, otherwise I'd be all prissy and girlish around smokers too and I might end up being one of those twats who do silly things like coughing loudly around smokers and stuff. Personally I'd prefer to be stuck in a room with someone smoking then with someone who stinks of body odor, perhaps I should kick smelly old people down the stairs.
