I've been here since SG2K (Ent' told me about this place

), and yeah I know what trev' means.... I was away from SG for a long time in 2k2 2k3 (actually, I wasn't posting much, but reading sometime...), but it has had a big impact on my life. I probably would have given up on English at University after 2 years if it wasn't for SG, and I wouldn't be living in England right now...

The only thing I regret on SG is that we never actually managed to force Doom to post a mp3 of him playing the violin

Well, I WOULD pick up the violin again, but I never seem to have time to... and as far as motivation goes, I obviously don't have confidence in my abilities and every time I start to play I'm like "bleh I suck" and put it down again.

You could always make time if you really wanted to do it, I think. It's just about priorities. That's how I feel sometimes when I try to play hockey after not playing for so long, but as long as I stick wtih it and play a few times a week, I gradually learn everything again and can start working on new stuff

I really can't remember when I first got involved in the community. I just remember talking with Shaun and a bunch of others through a mailing list and junk. Then came Omega, and SG, and whatever else.

I've made tons of friends throughout the years since I got the net...back in 1998? I really have shoddy memory. Point is, since first using the net, I've made friends from a variety of places. I know a ton of people. Some of these people are no longer my friends, whether it was something they did that was shitty or something I did that was shitty.

I've had falling outs with people from our community, and either things were resolved or let go, or I never heard from those people again. I've been in this community longer than any other (Digital Flare is a close second). Any other community I was in before or at the same time I'm no longer apart of. I've had more falling outs/bullshit occur at communities I joined LONG AFTER I joined this one. The majority of people I know today are from this community. The majority of people I keep in touch with today I've gotten to know through this community.

Some of you guys I haven't talked to in ages, but I still consider you my buddies. Some of you I've gotten very close to, perhaps closer than most people I get to see in the flesh. Some of you have known me long enough to remember what a brat I used to be, and you stayed my friends despite that.

Oh, it got cheesy after all.
