Is there a point to being admin anyway? All you'd probably do is get rid of bots, or maybe move a topic or two.

It's my brain. If it reads something wrong the first time, I won't know for about 3 months. I just automatically see the first 2 letters and the brain invents the rest, like a mind cache...

I did this on another forum. I did a search for a user named Cavalcades post, and found I'd typed Calvaclade. How silly of me.

I was shown something on the internet that was this big paragraph without a single word spelled correctly, but sort of scrambled

it was an example of how the mind "speed reads"

I was able to read through the whole paragraph with ease without hesitating

This is really interesting but no, won't admin people that I don't know in real life or they'd have to be people I've known online for a reeeeeeeeeally long time. Not that I don't trust you guys, but I'm sure you all remember what people like Brad did to SG in the past....

As for Damien making this place more lively I see your point, but personally I don't think too much spam/unjustified flaming would really help the forum so he's not gonna be unbanned anytime soon, not until he starts writing the 4263556 reviews he was supposed to write for the site anyway...

He stole neil's password from a site he was in charge of or had some status on(neil used the same password for SG)

He royally fucked SG. it became a graveyard of broken code all over the threads.

then they fixed it somehow

I think that's basically it...if someone here remembers better than that feel free.

oh and "citan" was complicit in this somehow and was trying to get Brad off and was sending out fake chat logs of him and Brad talking to people on icq.

Asaroth, I'm not dodging questions, I'm just busy doing some marking. It's called multitasking but unfortunately I'm not too good at it, especially as I've got loads of work to do before going on holidays in less than a week. So don't expect me to comment on everything yet, an official statement should be posted on the main page sometime soon though. (but to answer one of your questions: there's no house conflict, not anymore anyway)

Oh and Neil's real name in Richard, and he will be attending SGW. And no SGW is not cancelled, despite what it may seem to some of you SG doesn't revolve around Chris. As Yuka has noted the place has had many admins and existed long before he arrived so no, SG isn't gonna die now he's gone. I'm actually talking to old members who left and might join the staff again but it's too early to talk about it at this stage. As said before, just wait for a bit, unfortunately I'm too busy in real life right now and will be for a couple of weeks.
