I'd recommend we all get insurance simply due to the fact we have a pool and we're going to all be pissed 101% of the time :/

Friday 30 June
London Gatwick to Malaga
dep. Fri 30 Jun 17:45
arr. Fri 30 Jun 21:30
£50.99

Saturday 15 July
Malaga to London Luton
dep. Sat 15 Jul 23:55
arr. Sun 16 Jul 01:45
£36.49

Travel Insurance = £16

Total cost with taxes and bullshit like that = £112.98

and if you cba with insurance it comes to about £96

These times are pretty much around the times the northerners get in and leave Malaga. Any problems? Unless anyone can find a cheaper alternative I'm cool with this. Megabus to London 4 me :>
We fly to Alicante not Malaga I think, I'd check with Joanne but I'm pretty sure it's Alicante.

From looking around, easyjet from Luton was the cheapest I found for you lot too. But they're pretty much the same times we've found, so yay :E

I managed to contact Matt, so he'll book with the northern division this weekend. :E

I don't think we're allowed to arrive the day before we'll just have to wait around at the airport for a while. We don't all have to get there at the same time if you'd all prefer to go on the Saturday but it would be better if you could get there either Friday night or early Saturday.

Plus arriving late on saturday means we might not be able to get to the villa til sunday morning depending on transport, so we've lost a day then :(

Yeah I guess so, but for the sake of £5 or so (just comparing Andy's and Joe's flights here) it's worth having an extra day on holiday, imo.

If you guys have found much cheaper flights on Saturday night though, then go for it, obviously. But if it happens that a few of us are gonna fly out Friday, spending over 24 hours in an airport = no :p So we'd most probably head to the villa on Saturday morning (and claim the best rooms, muahaha!). Unless you arrive earlyish on Saturday, in which case we'd be happy to wait for you.

Obviously if everyone else decides to fly late on Saturday then we'll have to go along with that, which is why we haven't booked yet til we know what everyone else is doing.

But yeah, ideally, could everyone confirm when they're flying by tomorrow if possible, please? Cos Matt's gonna try and get online to book tomorrow night, so we'd like to book then if possible. If nobody has any objections to us flying out Friday night then we'll go and book tomorrow, that's all.

Feel free to book up whatever suits you guys best... I'll most likely go with an option to arrive in Alicante near enough the same time as you.

Im avoiding Gatwick on the pure reason my travel to a from will be a bitch. I cant get a lift either way and public transport options are limited

OK. Is it alright if I give them your address to send the keys to? (If so, PM me it please :p) As long as you arrive around the same time as us then that'll work fine. The flight you mentioned above is pretty much ideal for arrival time, so if you did that then gets!

I said I'd let them know when we're arriving and who to send the keys to, which is why (and I apologise for it) am a bit anxious to get things sorted.

Got another email:

"You pay the cleaner in Spain when you get there. She has a set of keys for the cleaning. She will call in at the end of your first week, to change all the sheets, and make beds up with clean ones, and change the towels for clean ones, (taking all laundry away to be cleaned).
you will need your own pool/Beach towels though.

We normally give 2 sets of keys, do you want 3 sets.
The keys to the down stairs, are different to the up stairs (as its a separate contained apartment."

She's gonna post the keys to you, Andy :D

We're gonna book tonight as far as I know, arriving in Alicante about 9pm on the friday night (30th June) and leaving late on the saturday night (15th July). If anyone has any objections or is arriving late on saturday night, reply on here asap plz :p

I just thought, you booked three seats together, I don't want to sit near you and Stel :(

But anyway, I'll get money sorted for you for whenever I see you next, might be in uni tomorrow if you're free at any time. How much is it with airport tax anyway?

It's not important to book right now or even soon. The prices go up and down depending on demand and stuff. I think you should do what you feel is best. Don't be pressured into booking the tickets. You might even get a good deal last minute, although that's fraught with danger.
