Yeah I guess?? here I am over a year later thinking “won’t even need subtitles on THIS Korean drama” and it turns out all that work on Japanese didn’t make it any easier to understand

The only word I really recognize in Korean in omma, for mom. Everyone’s always like “ommm-maaa!”

I know kimchi, bibimbap, and bulgogi and only really like the latter.

I've watched a good amount of Korean cinema over the years, top notch stuff. Parasite was the most famous Korean film of the past few years and it's a must see.

Fei Ayanami · Post by **Fei Ayanami** » Thu Jun 03, 2021 5:25 pm

I have not seen Parasite

I did watch Save the Green Planet not long ago. It was... interesting.

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Thu Jun 03, 2021 6:08 pm

I saw both Save The Green Planet and Parasite in the cinema

Those wacky Koreans!

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Thu Jun 03, 2021 6:11 pm

Still haven’t managed to get my wife to watch it. Hoping the American remake doesn’t happen.

I wonder why animation is so much less prominent in Korea than in Japan. (Though naturally it does get produced—don’t think I’m familiar with any, though.)

Parasite was very good and it reminded me of the classic Quebecois Show Les Bougons a bit.

In 1414 AD, ALIEN priory cells are suppressed in England.

WaWard · Post by **WaWard** » Thu Jun 03, 2021 10:06 pm

In 1414 AD, alien cat parasites from The Citadel returned with the Wild Hunt to attack the castle and kill Heirs Tiberius and Albert.[32] They were soon after destroyed by the Heirs, but the Wild Hunt returned in 1414 and were once again able to temporarily escape.

In 1413 AD, during a duel between King Valdemar and his favourite, Prince Aethelwulf, Valdemar accidentally fatally wounded his uncle with an arrow and was forced to make Aethelwulf a Prince of the Realm.
