There is no set date for the RDM's NYC trip. He and his wife will probably do a 1-nighter some time in mid-to-late August. The kids will be babysat, they already had their NYC time.

Well, if Alstom handles this, surely they can do the job properly? After all they already have tons of experience in other countries, they're not total nubs like Amtrak.

I'm moving to Westchester county in mid-to-late August so the timing doesn't seem ideal. Oh well, SGNYC will have to wait I guess.

We're too small for that to happen to us, because we can monitor each post individually without software. Even in its prime, it was possible, although more difficult, to read every post on SG.

I have to say that episode was really confusing to me, because it seemed out of character. Whilst I don't agree with many of his ideas, he's always seemed to me like someone just fighting for what he believes in, in a fair way and not relying on shitty tactics.

A lot of people voted though, so I'm not really sure it has to do with that anymore than that a lot of people never vote. There were more total votes in this election than in 2012.
