Have you noticed? Though there's a bit more anime talk here. I think SR has more activity. Is it because of the lack of Cid/CE cosplay? Is it because there aren't ranks anymore? Discuss.

We just need more threads overall. I suspect there will be lots of new threads in Game Discussion in about 2 weeks from 5 or 6 new games coming out mid-November.

Well, regardless of how much bitching we all do about there being no activity, and how many times we bring it up, does it really do any good?

This topic wasnt about sex, masturbation, useless images, or the dog/cat debate. It generated discussion.

Now do the same thing more with new topics!

There are a lot of factors in lackage:
-lives
-"lives" (FFXI, WoW, RO, whatever)
-the old "I've seen it all before!" reply to threads
-irc
-lack of nubs
-lack of freedoms (avatars, etc)
-forum layout
-etc...

But no matter what changes are made there are always people who are left wanting more, as is human nature. I'm not chastizing anyone, but maybe instead of bringing it up it would be more useful to engage in direct action - ie: making specific suggestions and/or creating new worthwhile topics.
