Brain Age: Better than black olives!

Post by Brody »

The Discovery Science Channel talked me into buying this today.

It's a fun game, but moreso seems like ill use it for conditioning purposes (Ill probably play it more to work on my minds health than I would for entertainment).

The interface is hit or miss. I had no problems at all with the voice recognition. As for the stylus; There were a few numbers I had to refine, namely 4 & 8. At least doing so improved my hand writing! :nub3 The most impressive aspect came when I was instructed to flip the DS (you hold it like a book) around once I told it I was left handed. It was funny how the game sympathised with me for being a lefty. "Left handed people are more athletic!" :sarc

The exercises are accessible once a day, as the software creates a personal file and records your progress. My first asessment landed me w/the mental age of 57. :(

Lastly, it comes with Sudoku. Never played it before, but Ive always wanted to learn. Overall this is a fine installment to the positively unique DS library.
