Those jokes were never funny anyway, so I don't see what the problem is.

New people are being moved into the game, but I don't want to replace all of the animations and shit I've done already.

An annoying bug was found and squished, so it might be a good idea to redownload before Bio joins.

Really? I thought the dialogue came off as something that was made up in about ten minutes, while drunk.

Gimme the location and details, and I can fix it I guess. I've lost track of I've stuck everybody and what they do over teh last six years, so a misplaced/mangled script is probably forgotten in there somewhere.

Also, a BioCrimson minifaq of sorts is posted in the SG blog.

No, like...I have no text ANYWHERE. As in, the menu in the beginning (which I can assume is New Game, Continue, and Options) has no text, the beginning of the game starts with the "One Day in Dash's Bar..." (or whatever it is) and then all the speech boxes have...nothing. o_O

This was a very welcome surprise last night. Downloaded and played through Purmadnez or however you spell it. The fight at the end had me rolling out of my chair when the music changed. I wont give anything else away. But for anyone who wants a particularly difficult challenge, try:
Defeating girl6 without using Bio's "attack" command.
Other than that I couldnt find any bugs to speak of, although I didnt look very hard. Hopefully annother installment, IE one of the 3 branches of the story will be released in a little more timely fashion this time. I think we waited what 3 years for this update :XE But again congrats Qmark and hopefully we'll be talking about the next beta soon.

"Shaun's Story" is in development*, since it's likely pretty short and Damien specifically requested that done be done first.
If I have time and/or patience, I'll finish Bio's as well since it's the shortest one and it all takes place in Gamdis.

Also, I might tone down Slashley, but he's apparently not invinicible if people are making Girl6 references already.

* "development* means that the music is already in place, and I'm mostly just trying to figure out how to get Cyan to work right.

As far as people having trouble with Slashley well go level up some more! I had my old levels so Shaun Biz and Rekki were all around level 18ish. PLus I went and got all of the extra stuff that kinda breaks the game a lil bit. Do a little "digging" and you'll find it. Also lots of good levels to gain in the basement part of the mine. just watch out for the ghosts as "fear" is the same as dead basically :(

Oh and Qmark I'll look around for riverside tilesets. Are you looking for Town sets along a river or just an area where you go through some maps along the river cause either of those can be cut and pasted from other chipsets in Photoshop. Let me know and maybe I can come up with something.

Oh and one other thing why are Pies not usable in battle? I bought a bunch to get ready for the tower and then couldnt use them in fights. got more use out of the teas. Just my two cents.

I need sort of 'wildnerness river'.
I think I'll just go ahead and rip some tiles form RS3, as they seems about what I'm looking for.

I thought it would be funny to make food 'field only'. This is the same line of sadistic logic that has nearly all of Biz's equipment killing his speed.

Here's where the Playable List is now:
Image

As you can see, some old and absent farts were removed, a couple or three currents tossed in, with four vacancies left. Also, I have no gimmick for Damien, apart from a prospective plan for a sort of fudged 'blue magic' system.

Also also, I think I'll finish and release the 'partysplit' junk in pairs, with the easy ones (Bio & Shaun) first, and the other two after the usual half-year delay.

Also also, Imma go turn up the numbers on the 'food', to mitigate the fact that I bastardly set them to 'field only'. Three pies to full health seems like a good deal, right? I can easily get a 'food patch' of sorts up within an hour, if there's interest.
Here it is: http://home.earthlink.net/~sgrpg/RPG_RT.ldb - just drop that file into the SGRPG directory.

I think I finished Slashley off at around level 10, but my strategy was basically to have Rekki thundershock all the time while the other two constantly used tea on him.

I finished the demo at 15-16.

The best way to beat Slashley in my opinion (as the freeakin developer) is to find the Bloody Claw and have Rekki attack (gasp!) the tentacles until they are no more. Then go apeshit on Slashley.

So did anyone actually buy the Skull of Mondain?

Tea game could just be a button masher who can push the buttons the fastest. or you could do a CMS with a bar that you click to stop kinda like kicking a field goal in madden type games. But honestly I think a button masher would be the most fun. XE

WTF? I said I haven't even played. :p

Also, I think teagame needs something where if you go too fast you burn your esophagus and lose. It can be like a stop and go sort of thing. Also, multiple rounds of various hot tea, with MeTEAo round being the hardest(heat builds up quickest). But I guess button masher is okay if this is too hard....
