Cats are certainly sneaky. There are lots of sneaky cats all over the Internet.
In other news, Chase has decided I need to prove I'm not a U.S. citizen as their records say I was born in the U.S. So I've done some research, and somewhat surprisingly there is no place called Royan in the U.S.. So how could they get it wrong in the first place?! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royan

Even better think of the tea they COULD have in the White House if a true tea lover were in there! Think of the tea they SHOULD have in the white house!
Oh and I don't think Chase could grant me the right to vote. Apparently it's related to FATCA but that's silly, why would I even pretend to not be American if I was? Indeed if I was I could make sure not only the white house get better tea, but every house in the country!
Even better, I would decide on a new holiday for everyone: on the 16th of December every year, there would be a massive party in Boston to give free tea to everyone. I think this even has the potential to become a universal party, which could be celebrated everywhere by people of any faith, gender, race, etc. Sounds better than Trump's wall building projects, right?
Year ends with today... or maybe it's already over in UK time, I can hardly figure out time zones. Anyway, have a cuppa to ring in the new year. I'll note that I still don't have a Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor.
The RDM's good at not answering questions, he believes that was established on an earlier page. He's also good at not having seen the new Star Wars yet.

Speaking of remakes and of VIIs, I've finally seen The Force Awakens. Is it just me or does it feel like a remake of Episode IV?
In many ways it was. I'm still waiting on where they go with it in the sequels to make my final judgement. On the one hand, I thought it was rather enjoyable for being reminiscent of and "feeling like" Episode IV. On the other hand, if this entire new trilogy feels like completely retreading old ground, I'm going to look back on it in a less fond way. I've read a lot of the criticism on the movie for being that and I can't deny that it's largely correct, but I also can't deny I enjoyed watching it. Still I can't imagine I'd be pleased if Episodes VIII and IX follow Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi as closely as this did the original.
@LG, my thought exactly. I did enjoy it despite the "remake" feeling, and I did think some parts were like clever quotes. In a way it's very well done, because it can be enjoyed both by new, younger audiences and old fans. Though I'm waiting to see were episode VIII goes. I think there's a lot of potential, so I'm looking forward to it, but I hope it won't simply feel like a remake of episode V, as brilliant as V was.
Anyway, I'm not complaining, watching The Force Awakens felt much more satisfying than watching episode I
Sounds interesting. The RDM can't imagine they'd do the whole series like it was secretly a remake--people would catch on after a movie or two. Plus there just aren't enough Bothans left for that kind of thing.
In other news, there's apparently a line of dead pixels on the RDM's monitor, which is infuriating.

Damien wrote:It's not a remake, it's just derives heavily from the very first Star Wars film. It's kinda' like a soft reboot for Disney.
I think they kinda tried to do like for Avatar. Since Avatar did very well despite just copying the plot from Pocahontas, they probably thought they could do more or less the same and still make tons of money?
I don't like dead pixels either, they're annoying. I think there's a dead pixel on our PC monitor, but I'm not sure as I haven't seen that PC for months. I hope it finally arrives soon.
