I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the massage scene in FFX-2. Mostly for LeBlanc's realistic moaning, and how she enjoys it a little too much when you win the minigame.
I don't expect this to be particularly good, but it could be a pleasant surprise.
I hated playing Devil May Cry, so I probably won't like this, though I might rent it and play through it for the story. It depends on how strong the RPG elements are / how tight the gameplay is.
If the gameplay isn't very well refined, I may as well go play Devil May Cry, because even though that's mindless hack and slash, it's at least good at being what it is (I recognize it has good gameplay, but I didn't have much fun playing it). I don't think I'd mind DMC quality action with an actual storyline but this game is probably going to miss that mark.
The buzz I've read from Japan and people that imported is that it's short, it's easy, it's pretty, but the gameplay is nothing special.
I'm pretty sure it's going to be awesome because Vincent is in it, and Kitase produced it. You can always count on Kitase to make kick-ass games, he's an awesome developper. Topped with Nojima on the plot, they are a dream team and represent the best of what the gaming industry has. I have no doubt this will be as good as the rest of Square's recent games.

oh and doom, are you trying to best me at thread digging? If you are, THE WAR IS ON.
