I think Fei is still in the running. It sounds like his might be the same week, or even the week after.

Nice. We still don’t have an ETA for this here save “fall” which feels a bit far away

But I think the feds are super under promising because the Tories are complaining at everything that goes remotely wrong even a delay of 3 days so whatever keep under promising

Rumblings here are that the 2nd doses will be 12 weeks instead of 16, as we now have more supply.

So I guess hot girl summer is delayed til autumn!

News yesterday was the government backtracking on “these countries are safe to holiday to without quarantine”. Quickly went to “obviously use caution” and then “absolutely only for essential reasons, not holiday!”. You can still fly practically anywhere you want if you can prove you have money though.

Doug Ford here meanwhile is the only one bitching that our quarantine rules arent good to deflect his own failings.

The thing is. He’s technically not wrong, but the deflecting his own failings thing is what is :boo worthy. It’s weird that none of the provinces that managed the pandemic better aren’t putting the attention on this. Probably because it’s not the most significant source of the coveds

Eventually, all leaders of non-communalist societies will fail because a large enough minority of country X's population is made up of the selfish, stupid, or easily duped, and those in charge will end up doing the politically expedient thing, which is to abandon all pretense of leadership or responsibility and try to blame whoever they can that isn't in their political base and just hope enough people turn their criticisms to the people taking videos of themselves getting kicked out of hospitals and Costcos instead of the people who's job it is to know better.

You know, except for New Zealand, apparently.

Fordnation is reopening things.

We're starting with Golf and Tennis. Because that's what matters the most to hardworking taxpaying fordnationers. DoFo is truly a man of the people.

Now some countries that are on the UKs “red and amber” lists are saying they’ll allow people from the UK in. Either make it coherent/stop flights or don’t bother. People are still flying to India even!

How can you make it coherent? Can't control what other countries are gonna do. You just either stop people from leaving or refuse to take them back if they go some place on the forbidden list.

I think looking is a little rude for this particular vax, as (masks notwithstanding) you’re breathing right toward the vax-giver’s face.

Yeah. It's a pretty awkward thing to do for any upper arm injected vax and especially weird for this vax.
