When I first played SF2 I seriously thought he said Fiber Uppercut.

A Tiger Uppercut! Okay, so "uppercut" is a separate move, but the bastard's so cheap he can pretty much switch midmove from Tiger to Uppercut and so he almost always says the two together.

We definitely need the parry system back to negate this game-breaking combo.

and street fighter alpha 3 seems to be the best street fighter
all the sf2 characters plus favorites like sakura and karin

and of course there's always MUGEN

so far this SF4 just looks like a SF EX game which I played one of those and it was garbage. Ono said this SF4 was supposed to bridge the story gap between 2 and 3. I believe that when I fucking see it. Street Fighter must have the most inane and half assed plot I've ever heard of.

M.Bison is not really M.Bison at all but some kind of body possessing demon who has a sister named Rose though (unexplained) and a clone named Cammy whose is also his sex slave or lover who is brainwashed. His psycho power is or isnt held primarily in his cape. His body completely obliterated in Street Fighter Alpha 3 yet is back in street fighter 2. Though he was only supposed to be a demon possessing a body so did he clone a real body which was an exact copy of the last body he was inhabiting? Is Cammy really his clone? Clone of his real self? Is Bison a woman? Probably not since it also calls Juli and Juni clones and it seems to be like the Sephiroth clones but I remember hearing some crap that Cammy wasnt supposed to be included in that clone group so I dont know.

And why is fucking Karin of all people aware of Bison's true nature?

And That's just one character!

And who the hell officially won street fighter 2. Apparently Akuma kills Bison for the 2nd time but who fought bison before akuma shows up is still unknown

bridge between 2 and 3. Doubtful. We'll be lucky if Sakura or any street fighter 3 character even make it into the game. Not having Sakura in Street Fighter 3 was outright inexcusable considering how popular she is.

By the way, Rose uses Soul Power, which is the opposite of Psycho Power. She uses it to beat the crap out of people, but not very convincingly.

Also, Cammy is a clone that was supposed to house Bison after his body got pWned, because he likes the idea of wearing ladies underwear. She doesn't want to be Bison, so she takes off, a Juni and Juli are cloned as replacements/they're there to retrieve Cammy, since she's way better than they are.

Presumably Ryu won Street Fighter 2. Why? Because Ryu always fucking wins.

I intend to buy SFIV.
I think it's really good that they've developed it alongside the arcade game, but haven't just been sloppy and have given it a load of extra characters/features.
I'm still looking forward to [google]Animu Vs Capcom[/google] more though, just for the sheer lols of it.

god what the fuck.

I spent an hour fighting as akuma to try and get gouken and after losing twice to seth, i finally get to gouken on the 3rd try. First go at him, the guy throws 400 hadokens with no breaks. I lost without having done 1 hp of damage.

Finally got gouken. Had to turtle like hell and get in a couple of kicks when he eased up on the hadokens, and then ultrad his ass when he got tired of cheesing me and came in closer.

I've finished the game with all but 7 characters so far not including Seth, and Blanka has to be the worst character. I had more trouble beating Seth with Guile because I can't use Guile for shit, but I can see where he could combo well. Blanka I basically just had to rely on people getting in close and electrocuting them which made Seth easy since he was always fucking teleporting next to me, but other than that, against a projectile whore like Gouken, Blanka would be fucking useless.

I surprisingly had quite a bit of trouble beating Seth with Sagat.

Neway Gen, Rose, Dan, Balrog, Vega, El Fuerte and Rufus to go before I get Seth!
