Yes I know Michael Bay is directing, yes I know people are going to bitch and whine and I honestly don't give a fuck because that trailer was cool.

This movie will destroy my childhood, I fear.
I'll still go and watch it at the cinema though
Needs more dancing cars from the Citroen adverts, tbh.

You know, I was never really into Transformers that much. I mean, I know I watched it, but it was never as big a thing for me as TMNT, not by a long shot. Aside from Optimus Prime and the leader of the Decepticons (whose name I forget) and also that guy's second in command (whose name I also forget), I don't remember a thing about the show either. I guess I'll probably watch the movie at some point at least, but I don't think it's even going to have much nostalgia value for me, because I just don't remember the show that well and it didn't have that much impact on me.

Bu....but...they're more than meets the eye!
Certainly they were not quite as awesome as the ninja turtles back in the day, but the toys were better. That's got to count for something.
Plus, the old Transformers movie? Brain candy as a child. You are commanded to rent it from your local video distribution establishment!

Plus Orson Welles, plus swearing in a cartoon, plus the awesomeness that was Optimus Prime in the movie...The Robo D Monkey wrote:Plus, the old Transformers movie? Brain candy as a child. You are commanded to rent it from your local video distribution establishment!
...that'd be why I own it on DVD.
Megatron (the toy looked very much like a real Walther P38 pistol, but the robot form sucked) was the boss, and then one of:Lord Golbez wrote:Aside from Optimus Prime and the leader of the Decepticons (whose name I forget) and also that guy's second in command (whose name I also forget)
Shockwave (big purple one-eyed thing that turned into a ray gun)
Soundwave (<3 voiced by Doctor Claw - the blue one that turned into a tape deck)
Starscream (backstabbing git who turned into a white F15 plane)
Anyway. It was all about the toys, not really the cartoon.
I never really cared much for TMNT, but then again I was 12 when it came out in the UK. Aside from the totally awesome 4-player arcade game

This will probably be far better than the cartoon ever was. It certainly won't "destroy my childhood" like it will some others. I used to defend to the death our old cartoons until I went back and watched them as an adult. GI Joe and Transformers has some of the worst animation and dialog I've ever seen/heard. The concepts, of course, are still awesome, but they were executed badly. This movie will be fun to watch and hopefully we'll get a couple more films out of the franchise.

I'm still not "hooked" to it.
But may I just say, that trailer fucking owns, as expected of Bay films.

He's an alien jet, an ugly lookin alien jet, but still a jet.The Robo D Monkey wrote:Waitacrappit...Megatron is a jet?
The RDM needs to get his smashing stick.
Artistic license is unnacceptable.

It says that its a work in progress in the lower left, but that's pretty much the way the final megatron product looks.
They should probably stop planning movies based on randoms games.
Good games do not make good movies.
Gears of War movie is going to be crap, and let the game down. The cheesy invasion plot that's been used a million times before was only cool because it was in the context of a videogame.
Translating it back on screen is going to be a very difficult thing to pull of well, and something tells me it won't be handled well at all...

With all the latest media attention on the TRANSFORMERS movie (which I am very excited about), I decided to look a little bit further into the cast.
That's when it hit me ! like a train ! MEGAN FOX !
At first, when I saw the trailer, I was mostly amazed (I still am) by the realism of the CGI robots and the special effects. Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox were just boyfriend/girlfriend material added into the movie. But when I did my little research on the actors & actresses that were in this movie... that's when a "train" called Megan Fox hit me !
To say that Megan Fox is hot is an understatement. She is MORE THAN HOT !!! If the Devil had a daughter, it would be her for sure !
You owe it to yourself as a man to visit her gallery !
After looking at her gallery, I came up with this conclusion : "If one person could represent the Cardinal Sin of LUST, I would choose Megan Fox as it's symbol.

I agree on the fact that there is good looking girls out there, but better... I'm gonna say the same thing as Yuka...Bazz wrote:She looks quite nice but I think you're getting a bit over excited about it tbh. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't say no, but there's better looking girls out there.
"Hmm... no."

Really? Or you just thought he faked his death? He may have, although we're not talking about Teknaflowne here.Cybernetic Empire wrote:I thought he had died to tell you the truth...Lord Golbez wrote:This is typical Chris Ramsey. It's Anxious Heart is the best piece of music ever only with a girl this time (a real one this time, not Quistis). Bazz is right.

Hey guys (Lord Golbez & Cybernetic Empire), I'm so glad you remember me. You even remember my favorite music (Anxious Heart)... I managed to found many versions of this music throughout the years, here's the latest remix I found.
Gosh, it's been a while... Hey guys, remember Greyfox, I think he was the board leader back in 1999 (ah... those were the days). Is Greyfox living in japan now ?
Sorry to put this on this thread... I'll stop here and post somewhere more appropriate.
