If it's on CNN, it must be ok!
Article here (Its a long read!)
http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/06/02/c ... index.html
Lately I have been buying my music
http://www.beatport.com but that is strictly for electronic music. It has perfect quality mp3’s at 320kbps with thousands of artists available for download. Other people use iTunes, or other services for your normal genres (Rock, Rap, etc.) CNN has reported of a Russian website selling top albums for penny’s a track, or less than a dollar for some of the current top albums. American music officials are trying to make it Illegal in the states, but thanks to Mother Russia, it’s ok to buy! I have already downloaded 20 gigs of music... For about 40$
:wiz:kkk have fun whoring kiddies

I don't see the appeal of paying for mp3s. I mean I can get them for free, so why pay.
I still buy many albums though!!!!

The stuff that I buy on Beatport are songs that are unmixed and un edited. It is also much better quality than vinyl. Also when your a DJ you wan't all the newest tracks and they are available the day they come out. Full versions of trance house, etc. are near impossible to find on most of your normal file sharing services. For example, if a song is used on Ferry corsten's newest mix cd, you will find that for download, but not the full track so you can mix it yourself. For normal music though (nig music, rock, etc.) yeah, I don't really understand paying for it, but i would want all the tracks of an album to have the same volume/quality, etc. though. also you wouldn't have to wait in line, and you can be sure taht you have the full track, not just a sample, or one thats missing 5 seconds in the end or wahtever... I dunno.

Penny's? This is something I can't stand for! Don't make me come up there!
The TBB offers you tea and biscuits.

Sorry to inform you, but using allofmp3 is actually illegalised too.
Even though you pay for them, the songs aren't correctly licensed, and thus, still recognised as theft.
Bittorent FTW, especially with decent enough encryption.
