Current evidence indicates that the Swabian Jura of southwestern Germany was one of the central regions of cultural innovation after the arrival of modern humans in Europe some 40,000 years ago.
Prehistoric p0rn?
Female representations with highly accentuated sexual attributes
How is that highly accentuated?
After having had a dozen of kids, (if she survives) any well fed woman is likely to look like that (except this one has no visible face, of course...)
Size of the artifact:
20cm x 1 in/2.54cm = 7.87 in
Typical size of female fist (the part of the artifact that would have to hold the artifact):
Approx. 4 in
Net size left over:
3.87 in??
You mean to tell me that ancient women were satisfied with THAT? And this doesn't even leave room for any slack for insertion and removal
This may resemble a "penis" but it's too damn small and thin for me to buy that this was actually USED as a sex toy which have to be bigger than the real thing in order to accomodate the fact that they have to be held by human hands to operate. Modern sex toys take this into account, just look at how far humanity has come with it's porn in thousands of years:
This one's called "My Blue Heaven":
The artifact to me seems more probably just a sculpture just like err...the woman on there (hey, if I was a starving to death caveman I would be turned on by a woman capable of getting THAT fat! For sure, I'd wonder what she's got .

Probably some ancient man found it and brough it back to the cave cause he thought it was funny "Hey guys, what does this look like eh?! HAHA, that's right it looks like a cock! I'm gonna scratch some lines in it to finnish the effect. It can be my new flint splitter."
And thus the mystery is solved. I dare say Mrs ancient human did use it on herself a couple of times or so, it says it's well polished...
Well, actually having reread the article the scientists aren't making the assumption that it was used as a sex toy:
"In addition to being a symbolic representation of male genitalia, it was also at times used for knapping flints," explained Professor Nicholas Conard, from the department of Early Prehistory and Quaternary Ecology, at Tübingen University.
