Ok, I know this is old news, but still...
This is to me the most interesting movie of the summer, by far, and I can't wait to see it
Looks like it's gonna be quite different from the original movie...
But it might be closer to the book's spirit?
Oompa loompas scare me

I love Tim Burton. I especially love the book 'the melancholy death of oyster boy'. One poem simply goes like this:
"Unwisely, Santa offered a teddy bear to James, unaware that he had been mauled by a grizzly earlier that year. "

Fuck Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
It's all about Charlie & the 和食工場.
No Oompa Loompas, but Charlie & the 和食工場 has Sento Bentos.
It premieres next Saturday, for one day only. I am Charlie. I try to steal the magical Oishii Natto from the factory (everyone in the world finds it delicious), because Donaldo MacDo said s/he'd give me 百万円, and in the meantime, my fellow visitors all die in horrific ways. It's quite entertaining.

Abe you're a silly man.
This movie is going to be awesome. I've been waiting for it since it was announced, and I seriously doubt I'll be disappointed. Tim Burton and Johnny Depp working together haven't failed me yet, and I don't see them doing so anytime soon. Tim Burton is one of my favorite directors of this generation (as long as I conveniently forget Planet of the Apes), and until I see him fuck something up I'll go to my grave saying Johnny Depp is one of the best and most versatile actors ever.

my feeling exactly
Burton+Depp can't go wrong, that is all.
And from what we see in the trailer it looks like it's as 'colourful yet a bit creepy' as I imagined it should be, which is good.

Depp always looks like a flaming homo. But it works for him, and in this role he looks perfect.

Johnny Depp looks good no matter how they dress him up. Fuck, he even looks hawt without eyeballs. But I have to admit, the wonka costume really doesnt suit him somehow.

I haven't seen all of his movies, granted, but I hated Batman Returns and Sleepy Hollow.
