Biggest problem with these ones for me is that I never want to try a repeat-letter word (even if I think of one) until it seems like I have no choice.

First time I failed. My ladt 4 guesses all had

:E;(;(:E. and there were just too many possibilities. Also, the actual answer doesn't make me feel like I should have gotten it, be ause it's definitely so.ething I would always think of after my last 4 guesses BUT it does make me wonder if I failed because I stopped starting with giant. I'm pretty sure I would have figured it put if I started with giant.

I learned yesterday (while reading about the logic behind a Wordle parody app) that Wordle has a sizeable dictionary of words it’ll accept as guesses (something around 10,000 I think?) but that only a subset of the couple thousand most common of these can actually be randomly selected by the game as the solution.

This seems perfectly reasonable, but also I’ll now forever wonder, if I’m guessing what feels like a more unusual word, whether it’s even possible for that word to be the solution.

10000 words in wordle vs 100000 numbers in numberle. But 26 viable characters per spot in wordle vs only 10 in numberle. Which ones harder?

You should only use the most common 5-digit numbers as solutions.

The most common 5 digit numbers would probably have lots of repeated numbers. Like 50000. That seems pretty common.
