The Three-Post Rule!
Each user will have a maximum of three posts to reply in each topic.
Why? If you haven't said everything you wanted to by the third post, you'll probably never finish saying it.
This limit also takes care of those individuals who refuse to back down and won't quit until they've convinced everyone of their superiority or veracity (which never happens).
There are no set criteria for what your replies should be.
If you want to use a one-line zinger, go ahead.
If you want to write a page-stretching post-dissection, be my guest.
It's up to you to decide what's the best way to reply to a topic.
