Speaking of

right?
Try walking up to the Colonel Raiden (as I like to call him) and surprise him in the locker rooms. Kojima is a genius, he hid a
relationship in there. No wonder Volgin kept trying to rape me before the torture room.

Re: I EAT THE SNAKES
That was obvious after Volgin grabbed Big Boss's nuts and knew imeediately it wasn't Raidenovich.
Re: I EAT THE SNAKES
Uh, yeah, I think everyone knows that seeing as how it was pretty much spelled out for you.fire2ash wrote:Speaking of's, you guys know that Colonel Volgin is a super

Try fighting Volgan with the Raikov mask on and watch his reaction.
Re: I EAT THE SNAKES
Try it on Hard or Extreme. You lose all means of locating soldiers. Well, except on Hard. They let you keep the AP Sensor.
Re: I EAT THE SNAKES
It doesn't help that the camera sucks all kinds of dick.
Re: I EAT THE SNAKES
The camera has always been like that, but I guess now is when the problems start appearing since radars are no longer existent.

Re: I EAT THE SNAKES
I could play MGS1 and 2 without radars, and still manage fairly well. I think the main issue is that you're really really really fucked as soon as you get caught, and that the areas are like 1000x larger and more openened, and the soldiers' line of sight isn't 10 feet anymore, unlike the area covered by your camera (which is about 10-20 feet surrounding snake). Before you knew that if there was no guard on the screen, there was a 80% chance that no one could see you. Not anymore.Garbo wrote:The camera has always been like that, but I guess now is when the problems start appearing since radars are no longer existent.
That's a bad design choice.
Its not hard at all, true it can be hard to wait till the alert is completely gone but even then its easy to kill.
CQC is your friend, all you have to do is CQC some fools in alert and escape/kill is yours. On top of that CQC is extremely easy, find a hiding spot and thats it. But if you can CQC all the alert guards coming your way its quite easy to just kill all of them and run away before any more guards come, leaving you time to hide or go wherever.

Re: I EAT THE SNAKES
I haven't even tried to seriously beat the 2nd one after the one time I ran through it. 15 monkies in 1:45 just seems really intimidating.
The end is the best boss battle ever. All I did was sneak up on the old bastard as he slept, shot his parrot and then held him up, took his camo and shot him in the head, good stuff. Then you chase him around and blow that little bugger away with the ak or Shottie.
But I also like to play his little sniping game.
