I'm giving in and watching the latest episodes of One Piece as they come out even though I havn't watched from episode 1 (I'll do that later). At least I've caught up and in this case have surpassed most of you in the manga, I'm downloading the recent raw chapters as well, so I least know what's going on.

Anyways, I'm so looking foward to the next few episodes with the Zoro fight but I'm highly anticipating the fansubs to do the second major manga arc.

Okay I lied... but I did get up to and through volume 17, so that's not bad.

In other news, I was reading the animeondvd.com review of Gungrave Vol. 3, and apparently Brad Wong was translated as Blood War... what... the fuck... go Geneon?

I recently watched the DVD and it is indeed translated as Blood War. It should be correct because I assume that Geneon gets the official scripts of the show but I don't know. The two sound rather close and I can understand how someone would translate the name to either of those choices.

I want to see the story arc after this one. I was far more into the second major story arc than the first one, even though the first story arc is what got me completely hooked to One Piece. However, the second arc was far more suspenseful, in my opinion, and the whole survival/battle royale situation was amazing, as certain situations were unpredictable.

What sucks nads is the whole Davy Back Fight storyline and the anime added more then what was in the manga so it's taking even longer to finish it.

Obviously, it wasn't meant to be a serious storyline and was there as a nice break, which it was, but I wanted them to dive into the next storyarc right away.

Arlong arc is still my favorite arc.

if they get into it right away, that just means that they'll have to have more fillers in that story arc.. which would probably ruin the mood for it, since it is far more serious, and seems to deal with a big deal of the main plot.

The Sky Piea arc only takes 41 episodes in the anime but that is if you disclude the events leading up to the actual landing of Sky Piea. I just love the last half of that arc.

omfg, Tsukihime owns.

If it had been an episode or two longer they could have done more to the series, especially with developing True Shiki's character. There were some things I really wished they covered, such as who ordered True Shiki to kill his father and Kohaku & Hisui's pasts. Still, I really liked how it ended despite the loose ends. It's tragic but at the same time very settling.

Up to episode 16 but Infinite Ryvius is one of the most drama-filled anime I've ever seen.

It's almost oppressive.

EDIT: Actually, up to 19 now and it's gotten damn good. Easily, the most depressing anime I've seen but it's an interesting look at human nature and something fresh for a change.
