We did that in Columbus every year for safety, weather, and school reasons. Halloween was always Halloween, but the nearest clear Friday or Saturday for trick or treating was called Beggar's Noght and it worked great. I wish more places would adopt that.

I didn't win anything but I went to a fun party, had wine, threw axes, danced, and posed with swords. All in all, a great night.
