i've been obsessed with these sort of simplistic angel designs
and i wanted to put something in this forum

15 min job, dogwaffle+photoshop

I like it. I really like how the red color is both subdued and highlighted with white. I also admire the scribbly type background, because I suck at doing such things! Although, I almost feel like the background takes away from the angel a bit.

Well, it's simple, I'll give you that. Can't say very much on it if you admit you didn't put a lot of effort into it in the first place.

I guess I can say I like the contrast of colors. Other then that, I was mainly wondering what the "cliché" at the corner is suppose to mean.

Cool scribbly style, but the big cliche word on the right makes it kinda look like an ad or some sort of hot topic sticker.

i was thinking maybe i shouldn't have put the text there ... first i just drew the angel, realized it wasn't the most original thing and just had to add the stupid text. it's hard to come up with anything genuinely original and it pisses me off

unoriginal + not that skilled = why bother
so i just try to make something pretty
i dunno about this hot topic thing

You should experiment those letterforms further and create a font. Possibly incorporating those free formed accents on a few. Me likes.

I like how you did the angel. The wings are really impressive. I didn't like how the red looked like it was put on without effort. Just another opinion
