Why they don't just come up with a ps1 emu on a ps4 beats me.

I know I know. I would get to play the content I paid for already. :x

I think I currently prefer IX to FFI, II, III, V, XI, XII and XV
I've already bought it 4 times, anyway :heh
It was impressive how quickly they knocked it out after FFVIII and before FFX, if nothing else.

IX is one of my favorites, though I admit it has more of a childish feel, and I wish I could delete quina. It's what I think a FF game should aim for, rather than mako reactors or blitzball.

Oh and Steiner is my favorite character from FF ever. Plot-wise, not game-mechanic-wise.

I could never get along with his character design. Looked like something from a Children's BBC cartoon.

Having only ever played just a little past disc 1 (twice now!) I quite like FFIX, except for its card game. I hear it drags later on, though.

I've managed to hold off spending any money on the PS4 version because I won't play it. Not right now, anyway (still need to beat P5 >_< ). I mainly just want the PS4 theme :heh

Not the worst FF game ever, but definitely not one I would spend money on again. Although I think I would see it differently if I had been 10-13 when it was released and if it had been my first FF game ever. My bet is it's a quick cash-in on nostalgia from FF fans born in the 90s, or something.

I bought and started playing this.

I thought they were just going to remove the jaggies like the FF7 ps4 port but no they actually did redo the character models. This game looks great.

Number of times I beat Final Fantasy 7 - probably 6 or so
Number of times I beat Final Fantasy 8 - 4 times I think
Number of times I beat Final Fantasy 9 - 1 and then sold it.
Number of times I beat Final Fantasy 10 - None because the dialogue made me cry for help it was so bad.
Number of times I beat Final Fantasy 10/2 - Destroyed due to a smattering of buckshot when I shot the case w/game inside with a 12 gauge.

There was a decline in how many times I would play through a Final Fantasy game as they went on. For some reason, 9 was the one that made me like the series a lot less after I was finished with it.

Age is also a variable there. You were the right age to have the time to play such a long game as FF7 though 6 times.
